High-ranking Iranian official warns Iran has sleeper cells in the U.S. ready to strike

If you need a refresher course on how utterly and completely Barack Obama’s buddies in Iran loathe the U.S., a top Iranian official is here to fill that void.

His name is Hasan Abbassi, and he is not only an officer in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard but head of a think tank that provides counsel to the Iranian government’s leadership. He is a supporter of former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and a trusted advisor to the Supreme Leader the Ayatollah Khamenei.

In the video that follows, Abbassi warns:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

We have 2 million Iranians there [in the USA]. Be certain that I will raise a guerrilla army from amongst them against you. You know this well.

Look how vulnerable you were on 9/11 when 4 Arabs from Saudi who don’t know how to fight managed to endanger your foundations. Yet with us, you face a nation even stronger. Don’t forget, we have 7,000 PhD holders in the U.S. If only 11 people created 9/11, do you realize what we can do?

We don’t need nuclear weapons. You have 6,000 nuclear warheads. Those warheads are our target for our guerrillas to destroy. Not even an Iranian guerrilla movement but we have people from all Islamic countries….

We will guide anyone who has problems with the U.S. We have identified the U.S.’s Achilles heel….

You can write off Abbassi’s threats as just more fist-waving bluster from a representative of a rogue regime that photoshops videos of its own military might. But it’s worth keeping this clip fresh in your mind as the debate over Donald Trump’s travel ban enters Round 2. These counties mean us genuine harm. If they had the wherewithal — which, thanks to Obama, Iran is closer to realizing — they would destroy the U.S. in a heartbeat.
