Oh, to be a fly on the wall of any room Bernie Sanders occupies at this point! You have to wonder if the socialist, who last June was edging out Hillary Clinton in such high-value states as California (with its 55 electoral votes), would have been so gracious about dismissing her emails if he had an inkling of how he was being treated behind the scenes.
If, for example, Sanders knew that his opponent was being secretaly fed questions that would be asked in the primary debates, would he have remained as gentlemanly? Or if he knew how the Democratic machine was talking about him behind his back, would he have fought to become the party’s candidate?
Granted a newly released email from February is addressed to Clinton Chairman John Podesta, not from him. And granted it is couched as “friendly advice,” coming from a member of the Glover Park Group, a marketing and branding outfit.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Nevertheless, the “take-no-prisoners” approach recommended in it appears to have been taken to heart by Team Clinton.
