Abuela-in-chief returns, ‘gets down’ with Latin music

Alternate headline: Feel the burn!

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton demonstrated once again yesterday that there is no limit to her pandering. She was in Washington Heights, a section of Manhattan with a large Hispanic population, where she attempted to bust a move with State Sen. Adriano Espaillat and and State Assemblyman Keith Wright.

Watch at your own peril (warning: barf alert).

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

According to CNN, Clinton invited the crowd at one point to “imagine an America where we are unified again, where we stand against the hate rhetoric coming from the Republicans, where we say to Donald Trump, ‘Basta.'” Interesting reflection coming from a candidate who promised over the weekend that “Everything I will do as your president is exactly the opposite of what” the GOP will do.

This is not the first time Clinton has talked down to Hispanic voters. Last December, she released a campaign ad in which she addressed among other things the importance of “respeto” for “los mujeres.” And who can forget the “blaccent” she affected before a black audience at Texas Southern University in June 2015?

As for Clinton’s dancing skills, Weasel Zippers reminds us of this priceless episode of “Seinfeld”:

The only difference is that the writers and actors back then were going for a laugh.
