Indiana man sentenced to life in prison for having sex with infant

The second participant in an obscenely perverse sex-for-sale plot has been sentenced to life in a federal prison.

Station STMW reports that Christopher M. Bour, 40, who paid $500 to have sex with a 4-month-old girl, pleaded guilty in January to sexual molestation of a minor and possessing and producing child pornography. In addition to raping the infant, Bour arranged to have himself photographed in lascivious poses along with her.

U.S. District Court Judge Rudy Lozano on Thursday rejected Bour’s request for the mandatory minimum of 30 years in prison, saying that his crime was too “horrific.” He sentenced Bour to a life sentence plus 55 years to be served consecutively.

“In all honesty, much of the evidence in here is very disgusting,” Lozano said during the sentencing hearing at federal court in Hammond.

The child’s mother, 29-year-old Natisha Hillard, is currently serving out a 24-year sentence for renting out her daughters to be used in sex crimes. The older of the two girls was between 3 and 5 at the time.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Hillard, who met Bour met  through a dating service in 2011, offered the “use” of her daughters because she needed money. She was prepared to testify Thursday at Bour’s sentencing but was not called upon to do so, according to prosecutors.

Judge Lozano said at the sentencing hearing that Bour showed no remorse for his crime and actually bragged in text messages to an acquaintance about having sex with babies.

Bour’s attorney, Matthew Soliday, attempted to secure a lighter sentence for his client, noting that Bour had never been arrested previously and had provided authorities with information that helped them identify Hillard, who could be seen in some of the videos. Said Soliday:

What he did was very bad, there’s no way around that. But life [in prison] means he has no opportunity at a second chance.

In addition to serving time for his unspeakable acts, Bour was ordered to pay $8,300 to his victims.
