Is Hillary Clinton whistling past the graveyard or is she just plain nuts?

Before the Democratic debate last Tuesday, the word on Hillary Clinton’s emotional health was grim. As I wrote here, people inside the Clinton camp divulged to biographer Ed Klein that the former first lady had “been having screaming, child-like tantrums that have left staff members in tears and unable to work.”

But since the debate, which Mrs. Clinton won according to CNN and much to the displeasure of Team Sanders, Hillary has been back to her old self, as bitter and argumentative as ever. So full of piss and vinegar has Clinton become that when she was asked Friday by CNN host Jake Tapper about the controversy surrounding her use of a private email server, she … well, just watch:

As Oliver Darcy of the Blaze notes, not everyone was laughing along with her, Tapper included. Michael Short of the Republican National Committee said in a statement:

State Department rules, a federal judge, and the Obama Administration’s own guidelines have all made clear what she did was not allowed. While Hillary Clinton may think she can mislead and laugh off tough questions about her judgment, her growing email scandal personifies why an overwhelming majority of Americans don’t trust her.

It could be that her bad case of the giggles is just fatigue, the result of all the ups and downs she has experienced on the campaign trail. Or it could be she is ready for a strait jacket.
