… Albert Lane of St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Lane is the recipient of a spanking new AR 15 Realtree Camo Edition rifle valued at $1,149. The contest was initiated in late January. The original drawing was to be held on March 31, but the response was so immense that we extended the contest for another month, until the end of April. Throughout that period, ads ran daily at LU.
Mr. Lane tells us that when he went to retrieve the prize at his local firearm vendor, “a large crowd of admirers gathered” to ogle what was “easily the best looking firearm in the store!”
