Flashback: When California drought was blamed on ‘global cooling’

He’s a hound dog.  Well, Jerry Brown and the climatologists of the time, who tut-tutted over the major California drought of the 1970s — which in all likelihood you’ve never heard of — because of its supposed link with their predictions about “global cooling.”

Moonbeam was on the case; Steven Goddard has dug up the evidence to provide us with this humorous interlude.   In 2055, California is likely to be in another drought cycle.  Since Jerry Brown would be 117 in 2055, we can at least assume with some confidence that he won’t be serving a fifth term as governor.
