A little comic relief to start the day.
DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz appeared on CNN with Wolf Blitzer to discuss Emailgrate. Noting that DWS was a major supporter of Hillary Clinton, Blitzer referenced a CNN/ORC poll showing that Clinton’s favorability rating had fallen 6 points from November 2014, when it was 59%.
He then asked whether Clinton was losing the trust of the American people because of “this email uproar.” DWS’s response includes the claim that Clinton, when and if she decides to run, “will enjoy significant support” — a statement that should not be discounted. Consider that even though her favorabilities have fallen, Clinton is still in the black with 53%.
But Wasserman Schultz she goes on to deliver the opinion that Clinton is the “most admired woman in the United State of America,” which is at least open to debate.
