It’s not an unusual decision. The Clintons moved to New York after Bill Clinton left the presidency. It’s a happening place.
And Obama is such a “happening” guy:
In addition to which, the Clintons don’t live here in the city proper but out in the ‘burbs — far from the “vibe” that appears to beckon the Obamas.
A question that arises is whether there is room in the Big Apple for two Barack Obamas. After the city already has Mayor Bill de Blasio (aka Obama lite). Then again, the two are so alike that it’s not impossible to envision them becoming fast friends.
