The apologists are coming out in droves to condemn the attack by Muslim terrorists on the editorial offices of the French weekly paper, Charlie Hebdo, but carefully tip-toeing around the word “Muslim.”
That includes President Barack Obama, who issued this statement from the White House Press Secretary’s office:
I strongly condemn the horrific shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris that has reportedly killed 12 people. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time. France is America’s oldest ally, and has stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States in the fight against terrorists who threaten our shared security and the world.
Time and again, the French people have stood up for the universal values that generations of our people have defended. France, and the great city of Paris where this outrageous attack took place, offer the world a timeless example that will endure well beyond the hateful vision of these killers. We are in touch with French officials and I have directed my Administration to provide any assistance needed to help bring these terrorists to justice.
No mention of the word “Muslim,” “Islam,” “Islamic,” “jihad,” “jihadist” or “Islamist.” He just called them “terrorists” with no further description.
The Council of American Islamic Relations added its two cents by condemning the attack, professing its dedication to freedom of speech and then quoting Howard Dean in this tweet:
Howard Dean: Don’t Call Paris Attackers ‘Muslim Terrorists’… http://t.co/81P6O9XjV3

So who were they? Presbyterian terrorists? How about if we just call them “Islamic terrorists” then. But wait, it gets even better.
Pakistani security analyst Zaid Hamid went way off the deep end and assigned blame to Israel in this tweet:
#CharlieHebdo Even if the perpetrators turn out to be fanatics from ISIS, that is still a Mossad op. All tracks covered.. typical Zionists.

Even if ISIS did it? If George W. Bush were a country, he’d be Israel. The Israelis get blamed for everything.
CNN’s left-wing political commentator Sally Kohn reminded her followers of all the rampages committed by Christians and Jews “in the name of religion.” Huh? She was immediately sent back to her room to think about it for awhile.
When was the last time any Christian or Jew killed in the name of their religion? On a mass scale like this even? Hello, @sallykohn?

One guy who’s walking around with “clear eyes, full heart” is U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who tweeted:
The US stands in solidarity w/ our long-standing NATO ally France in this ongoing battle w/ radical Islamic terror: https://t.co/T5QwhETBO6

The first step one has to take in order to solve a problem of any scale is to forget about political correct and be completely honest with one another — even if it hurts.
