Judging from the reaction of the anchors in this weather report from Fox25 in Worcester, Mass., the answer is yes. As the on-air reporter assesses the potential of the snowstorm he is standing in to become a full-fledged blizzard, two men can be seen approaching each other over his shoulder. They appear to make an exchange of some sort, then go their separate ways again.
The Independent (UK) seems certain that a drug deal is going down and labels its report as such. Another UK website, Metro, makes the same judgment call.
One detail that seems to have escaped the attention of these and other online sources is that the snow is coming down as this reporter delivers his spiel. My question is “Why?” Would viewers be any less likely to believe his prediction if he were standing in front of an indoor green screen with live video of the snow behind him?
