The Rev. Al Sharpton was unavailable for comment, but no doubt he is on his way to Memphis to read the riot act to more than one hundred black teens who rampaged through a shopping center last night, attacking employees and shoppers. An attack captured on video by one of the marauders, a female (below), shows a white male on the ground being kicked and stomped by black assailants. Ultimately, a security guard can be seen entering and dispersing troublemakers.
CBS affiliate WREG writes that the man is one of three people injured and that the other two victims were black, making it an equal-opportunity crime.
The site also notes that one juvenile has been arrested in conjunction with the beatings. The suspect’s age has not been released. He has been charged with aggravated riot and aggravated assault.
