It’s actually kind of hard to have the heart to put this one up. If there’s something more lopsidedly unsporting than shooting fish in a barrel, this is probably it.
Bryan Preston is unsparing with his contempt for Ms. Ball’s seeming credulity. I just feel bad for her. I’ve never been a big talk radio listener, but I have heard the big-time pros (Limbaugh, Levin, Elder) shut down these prank callers immediately — sometimes before my own brain has registered what’s happening. Apparently, Ball doesn’t have that sixth sense a media personality needs to be successful in the game of entertaining live phone calls.
That said, it’s really not Ball who comes off in this encounter looking like a horse’s a**.
