“Weiner pulls another Twitter boner,” quips a New York Post headline. The Weiner in question is the beleaguered former New York congressman and mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner, who — to his credit — kept his pants on this time. He should kept his mouth (or Twitter finger) zippered as well.
The kerfuffle started Vox Executive Editor Matt Yglesias tweeted:

Weiner unintentionally favorited Yglesias’s tweet, as he reported in his own tweet:

Three pieces of advice for Weiner (who later left a second tweet advising that he had bought 1,000 shares of Tinder stock): First, avoid using the term thingy. Second, stay away from sexting. Third, stop tweeting.
