Hillary Clinton’s interview/book promotion appearance with ABC’s Diane Sawyer was supposed to be a “friendly encounter.” How dare Sawyer ask Clinton to name the “marquis achievement” of her stint as Secretary of State.
Clinton appeared elsewhere on TV yesterday to counter the claims that she and her hubby have raked in in the vicinity of $200 million in speaking engagement fees and royalties since leaving the White House. Her response: We left “dead broke.”
