Isn’t that special! Barack Obama found time in his hectic schedule Wednesday morning to take “surprise” leisurely stroll around the Ellipse on his way to a meeting at the Department of the Interior. Unsurprisingly, the “unstaged” event was captured on video:
You’d think with everything on the president’s plate — from the burgeoning VA scandal to the “phony” scandals being trumped up by the “enemy” Republicans to the non-recovery of the economy nearly halfway through his second term, — he’d have more important things to do than press flesh with people hanging out in the park, many of whom would probably rather have a job than shake hands with him.
But get a load of how his water carriers at Yahoo News report the outing:
You can almost read the bystanders’ minds.
Who’s that tall presidential-looking fellow, surrounded by a crew of armed men and women who look like they’ve never cracked a smile in their entire lives? “Say… honey?”
According to the big kiss writer Mike Krumboltz shamefully plants on Obama’s rump, one woman approached Obama and asked if he was for real, to which he replied, “I’m made of wax.”
We’d like a second opinion on that.
