Video: Clinton-backed candidate gets ‘blown out’

Last night was not a good night for the Clinton machine. Longtime Clinton supporter and mishpocha (Chelsea’s mother-in-law), Marjorie Margolies, got her head handed to her in Pennsylvania, where she was running for a seat in Congress.

“Bill Clinton hasn’t campaigned for any candidate as much as he has for Margolies,” ABC News writes, “with a fundraiser, an ad, and a robo-call on her behalf.” But not even Bubba’s cachet was enough to prevent Margolies from losing … and losing big. The final tally showed her with 27.4% of the vote, nearly 13 points behind winner Brendan Boyle, who finished with 40.6%.
