Who says the public sector can’t work as efficiently as the private sector? Just look at the U.S. Postal Service. Oh, wait…. OK, look at Obamacare — hey, a squirrel.
The video, from KSDK in St. Louis, reveals that employees hired by an Obamacare contractor called Serco, Inc., are being paid to do nothing. The workers’ job description is data entry on health insurance applications for which Serco was awarded $1.25 billion.
According to another station, KMOV, a whistleblower said that employees were told to “sit at their computers and hit the refresh button every 10 minutes.”
Dolce far niente.
