Does Democratic State Representative Timothy Horrigan have a diabolical plan to ensure that society’s least responsible people get hold of plenty of guns, thus proving how dangerous guns are? (Call it the Eric Holder/Hillary Clinton Maneuver.)
Is he making a difficult choice between left-wing priorities? Is “EBT rights versus gun restrictions” a priorities dilemma like the one posed by “Muslim barber’s diversity/victim quotient versus lesbian customer’s diversity/victim quotient”?
Or is Horrigan just a nut? As Kimberly Morin points out at the Manchester Examiner, Horrigan consistently votes against Second Amendment rights, and in fact has a lower NRA rating than most Democrats in nut-fringe-left Massachusetts. He’s exceptionally anti-gun. His passion for ensuring that EBT funds can be used to purchase firearms would seem to argue an overriding obsession with preventing any sort of restriction on EBT use.
