“Saturday Night Live” continues its futile twin attempts to appear funny and relevant. Last night, the shows cold open was an attempt to find humor in the Obama administration’s latest pathetic attempt to put a happy face on Obamacare enrollment.
At one point in the video, which follows (h/t reader alohasteve), actress Noël Wells demonstrates her command of current events by telling Jay Pharoah (Obama) that the White House website has too many pictures of him mugging for the camera with leaders from foreign lands such as “Yukron.”
The only redeeming value of spending five and a half minutes watching the bit comes of imagining yourself to be a fly on the wall of the royal bedroom in the White House at 11:30 last night.
