Picture of the Day: Opening ceremony at Sochi … oops!

And you thought toilets that don’t flush and tap water that causes burns were a bad omen!

The picture is of the opening ceremony at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Those tiny objects in the foreground are the athletes who will compete. In the background are five giant interlocking rings, forming the Olympic symbol. Well, there are supposed to be five interlocking rings. One of them, however, refused to open up and “join hands” with the others.
