'Hail, Satan': Pro-abortion protesters battle 'Amazing Grace' in Texas (Video)

As pro-life activists sang the hymn “Amazing Grace,” a pro-abortion crowd surrounding them attempted to drown them out hymn by chanting “Hail, Satan,” as reported by PJMedia.com and verified by CNN.

The Texas capitol building was the site of the contentious battle over the proposed state law that would outlaw abortions past the 20th week of pregnancy, as well as mandate that if a child should survive the abortion procedure, the abortionist would now be bound by law to perform life-saving steps.

Proponents of both camps descended on Austin to engage in protests, counter-protests, and more than a few screaming matches. But now it looks as if the proposed legislation has become a modern-day battle between Saint Michael and the Lord of the Flies.

PJ Media cited a rather garbled amateur video shot by blogger Adam Cahnman in which the pro-abortion activists offered up their bizarre chant (video is here).

Is That Really What They Were Chanting…?

CNN producer Josh Rubin was on scene and sent to the world the following message via the social media site Twitter, as posted by the right-of-center watchdog site Twitchy:

Crowd of anti abortion activists giving speeches while a group of people chant hail Satan in the background.

As Rubin states on his on-line biography, he has been with CNN since January, 2004 until present date. To further his credibility, Rubin has won three Peabody’s and been nominated once for an Emmy.

Also present at the Capitol Building was the former Planned Parenthood Director turned pro-life advocate Abby Johnson. In a photo of a group of pro-abortion individuals in a meditation circle within the rotunda, Johnson Tweeted:

This made me laugh. These people meditating in the Capitol were the ones yelling “f*** you” this morning.
