CNN’s Cuomo deletes tweet on Reddit user who posted Trump video

Even as the network claims innocence in its dealings with Reddit user HanA**holeSolo, the network continues to stonewall.

Earlier today, Chris Cuomo, co-host of CNN’s “New Day,” deleted a tweet in which he proposed revealing the identity of the Reddit user who posted the CNN wrestling video of President Donald Trump.

“Should CNN reveal name of Reddit user who made trump wrestling video?” the tweet read. “Had a lot of bigoted and hateful material on page and website.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Cuomo deleted the tweet, but a Twitter user tweeted a screenshot of it and accused the Cuomo of trying to intimidate a teenager in order to suppress negative coverage of his home network.

Cuomo characterized Trump’s attempts to hit back at CNN via social media as an attack on the press and said that Trump was trying to make the media an “enemy of the state.”

Cuomo’s co-host Alisyn Camerota said Wednesday that she believes that CNN is protecting the Reddit user’s safety by not revealing his identity, to which Cuomo replied, “Is that our job?”

This report, by Nick Givas, was cross-posted by arrangement with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
