Report: Hillary Clinton and 6 aides had access to classified info even after leaving office

Talk about not learning from your past mistakes!

A bombshell dropped by Fox News indicates that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and six of her top aides maintained access to classified information even after she left the State Department in 2013.

Republican Sen. [score]Chuck Grassley[/score] made the startling revelation, while Fox reporter Ed Henry said speculation has it that Clinton asked for and was granted access to the classified information in preparation for the writing of her memoir, “Hard Choices.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Via Fox:

Clinton … negotiated continuing access to classified and top-secret documents for … staffers under the designation “research assistants”….

The staff apparently retained access even after Clinton announced her run for president in April 2015….

Fox also noted that questions as to whether Clinton and her aides still have access even now have gone unanswered.

Grassley has since launched an inquiry into the revelation, citing concerns from FBI Director James Comey who called Clinton’s handling of such material “extremely careless.”

Grassley noted there is “evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information.”

Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch said:

Any other government employee, I don’t care what department or agency they are from, would have had their access to classified and top secret information revoked and their clearance suspended, pending the outcome of an investigation into the mishandling of such information.

It is so unimaginatively offensive that Hillary Clinton or her staff would have any access to classified or top secret information. It is a mindblower.
