In a matter of weeks, the Democrats in Congress have gone from complaints that the election was rigged by Russian hackers to boycotting the inauguration to pledging to “take back America,” whatever that means. And now this.

Via The Washington Post:

The Democratic National Committee is building a “war room” to battle … Donald Trump, pressure the new Republican administration on a variety of policy matters and train a spotlight on Russia’s alleged cyberattacks to influence the 2016 election.

The DNC’s new communications and research operation, to be staffed by former aides to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, will be one of several efforts from across the Democratic firmament to take on Trump, including the office of Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.), the Center for American Progress and American Bridge.

The Center for American Progress is the “think tank” founded by John Podesta, who served as Clinton’s campaign manager in the 2016 election. American Bridge is a PAC founded by David Brock and underwritten by socialist sugar daddy George Soros. Both outfits are far left and dedicated to “opposition research,” which is a polite term for smear tactics and fake news.

So much for the peaceful transfer of power.

Generally the term “war room” is used metaphorically to describe party’s strategy in the run-up to an election. Do the Democrats know something the rest of us don’t?
