President-elect Trump calls for unity in Thanksgiving address; will all Americans accept the charges?

President-elect Donald Trump called for unity following a “long and bruising” campaign season in a Thanksgiving video address posted to his Twitter account Wednesday night.

“Let us give thanks for all that we have, and let us boldly face the exciting new frontiers that lie ahead,” Trump tweeted along with the video message. “Happy Thanksgiving.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Emotions are raw and tensions just don’t heal overnight,” he said in the video. “It doesn’t go quickly, unfortunately.”

“It’s my prayer that on this Thanksgiving we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country, strengthened by shared purpose and very, very common resolve,” he added.

“Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,” he said in a following tweet. “We will, together, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
