Self-styled ‘people’s candidate’ flies 38 miles in private jet from Martha’s Vineyard to Nantucket

Hey, she’s a busy lady. And the ferry ride from Martha’s Vineyard to Nantucket takes an hour and a half. Who has that kind of time to waste?

Not would-be president Hillary Clinton, who instead made the 38-mile journey via private jet. When you factor in the time required to taxi, take off, and reach cruising altitude, you cut nearly zero minutes off the trip. Hard to beat.

But apart from the savings in time, consider all the good Clinton did for the environment by spewing jet fumes — not ordinary gasoline fumes — into the atmosphere.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

For a candidate who continuously hammers home the message that she will bleed the rich to transfuse the middle class, Clinton certainly is creating some lousy optics with mindless and extravagant gestures like this one.
