Liberal agitators punch, throw things at attendees at Trump fundraiser in Minneapolis

We got your liberal civility for you. It was on display Friday at the Minneapolis Convention Center where GOP nominee Donald offended large numbers of Minnesotans, who responded by punching and hurling objects at departing guests. Many were forced to run the gauntlet amid a fusillade of jeers and name-calling.

So what did Trump do to stir up so much discontent? He dared to hold a fundraiser in the Twin City area. According to the Star Tribune, the protest was organized by an outfit that calls itself the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Committee.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

One of the demonstrators, identified as Giselda Gutierrez, told reporters:

You’ve got somebody out there saying things that used to only be said in the shadows. I think what he’s saying represents something pretty dangerous for our country.

It’s an interesting reaction coming from someone who participated in a violent demonstration in which innocent citizens were harassed. A dispassionate observer might consider that type of action “dangerous for our country,” too.

According to police, there were no arrests and no reported injuries. There was, however, minor damage, including graffiti on the walls of the convention center. Police officers, moreover, had to escort Trump supporters out of the lobby because they were being harshly confronted.
