Yesterday, Jeff Dunetz grossed out a lot of readers (inadvertently, I am certain) by reporting that Joy Behar of “The View” said on air that she is sexually aroused by Bernie Sanders. I must admit the images conjured up by the article didn’t do wonders for my digestive system either, but I think I may have stumbled on a video clip that explains why Behar has the hots for the 74-year-old socialist.
As the video, which appears below, reveals, Sanders is a dancin’ fool.
The back story: He was a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres (pronounced “degenerate,” I think) show, and when he was introduced he danced his way onto the stage to the chorus of “Disco Inferno”:
The only thing that could have improved the performance was if Sanders had come out clad in a ’70s-era double-knit suit with super-wide lapels. (Something tells me he has one in his closet, along with a bunch of other interesting details from his past that have yet to be made public.)
Sanders isn’t the only aging presidential candidate on the Democratic side who has cut a rug on camera.
