Admittedly, the thought of 73-year-old TV host Joy Behar in a state of sexual arousal is not all that pleasant to begin with, so you may want to stop reading here. I caution you that if you do plan to read on, you may want to wait until your lunch is totally digested. Wouldn’t want to be personally responsible for any volcanic eruptions.
Assuming you’re ready, here goes: The candidate that makes Behar’s heart go pit-a-pat is … Bernie Sanders.
On this morning’s “The View” on ABC, the panel discussed Sanders’s line at the Democratic debate last night about being sick and tired of hearing about Hillary’s email. The conversation this morning surrounding that sound bite (which Sanders curiously thought was “non-political”) went like this:
Whoopi Goldberg: That was great. I guess people seemingly were very surprised that he would come to Hillary’s aid like that, but isn’t it nice to see them going at the issues rather than the same old, you know, dog and pony B.S.
Joy Behar: I thought that Bernie was so menschy in that moment like a real guy. I actually am aroused by him. I’m serious. I find him to be eye candy, not ear candy, eye candy.
Michelle Collins: “I actually am aroused by him”? He turns you on?
Behar: I like an old Jewish guy who’s a socialist. That’s my type of guy. Everybody is talking about O’Malley and how hot he was, but to me Bernie is hot.
I’m fighting hard right now to rid my psyche of the image of the septuagenarian Behar meeting the septuagenarian Sanders in a hotel room. I will spare you the details.
