As with running a newspaper, magazine, or other print medium, running a blog requires some form of revenue to offset the costs, which are considerable. Some blogs opt for the “tip jar” model, which calls upon readers to pony up donations to cover the cost. Other blogs, including Liberty Unyielding, stay in business by selling space to advertisers.
