The Twitter and YouTube accounts of the United States Central Command, which coordinates U.S. military forces in 20 different countries including the Middle East, has been hacked by a group claiming to be ISIS.
Thankfully, Centcom does not keep classified information on its Twitter account, but that doesn’t make the breach any less embarrassing. Among the information the hackers managed to publish was the home addresses of military generals.
After a half hour of being attacked, the Centcom Twitter page was taken down.
As of 1:20 PM the Centcom YouTube account is sill displaying an ISIS banner and ISIS videos.
