From the You Can’t Make Up Stuff This Funny department:
Gateway Pundit reports via Illinois Review that the New York Times reporter who published the address of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, thereby placing him and family in danger, is seeking police protection.
Sources inside [Chicago Police Department] tell Got News that [Julie] Bosman … demanded a level of protection afforded A-List celebs and dignitaries. But an investigation revealed that she was not in any danger, and deserved no more than extra attention paid to her address by patrol.
Police reportedly laughed at Bosman’s request on the grounds that she is not “Steven Spielberg or something,” but the idea that she would expect beefed up security after endangering a fellow officer is laughable all by itself.
