Video: Trailer for new movie titled ‘Dear White People’

Have you ever prefaced a statement with “Not to be racist, but…”? Me either, but according to reactions at both Salon and Huffington Post to a satirical film scheduled for release this October, that is how those inflicted with white guilt supposedly couch their racists thoughts.

The film is titled “Dear White People.” A trailer for it, which follows, runs 1 minute and 16 seconds, which is about as much time as I plan to spend on it.

If any reader cares to sit trough through it and pen a guest review for LU, that person will receive by way of compensation (1) a byline, (2) a free year’s subscription to LU, and (3) a choice of any item from the free section of our webstore (which, if you haven’t checked it out, also features some very nice $1 deals and reasonably priced closeouts).

The webstore can be accessed from the right side of the main menu bar on every page.
