Spied-on Senators still protected from Obamacare, etc.

The Leaky Leahy Legacy and the presence of so many liberal, appeasing-apologists-for-terrorists Democrats in the U.S. Senate makes CIA eavesdropping on them at least as imperative as NSA collection of meta-data from the rest of We the People.

Faux-defense-hawk (no Democrat today is for a strong American military given how they have all voted to slash its budget since 2009) and NSA-domestic-spying-advocate Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) is hot and bothered that she and the other members of America’s House of Lords have been treated as subjects equal to mere voters by King Obama’s executive branch court:

A behind-the-scenes battle between the CIA and Congress erupted in public Tuesday as the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee accused the agency of breaking laws and breaching constitutional principles in an alleged effort to undermine the panel’s multi-year investigation of a controversial interrogation program.

Chairman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) accused the CIA of secretly removing documents, searching computers used by the committee and attempting to intimidate congressional investigators by requesting an FBI inquiry of their conduct — charges that CIA Director John Brennan disputed within hours of her appearance on the Senate floor.

Feinstein described the escalating conflict as a “defining moment” for Congress’s role in overseeing the nation’s intelligence agencies and cited “grave concerns” that the CIA had “violated the separation-of-powers principles embodied in the United States Constitution.”

Having been exempted from the quite-un-Affordable Care Act and protected from Republican challengers in their states by President Barack Obama’s pen, phone and Internal Revenue Service, Senate Democrats woke up today to learn that violation of the Constitution’s separation-of-powers principles can come back to haunt even them, and even from a fellow Democrats in the White House and at Langley.

Would that elected members were subject to the consequences of all their totalitarian meddlings enacted by statute or promulgated via bureaucratic regulations. They, as well as their staffs and the White House staff were granted exemptions from Obamacare, which is akin to being granted an indulgence from Hell by a pre-Lutheran Pope. Campaign finance laws protect them from electoral challengers, especially when the Obama-Lerner IRS disables tea partier 501(c)(4)s even after the Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United prohibiting same. And, I haven’t heard of any elected Democrat denied a building permit due to EPA regs of late, have you? Can’t say the same for Keystone Pipelines or harbor dredgings in Republican Red states.

Democrats elected and re-elected a President that treats rags to clean golf balls with more respect than the U.S. Constitution. But this conservative Republican opposes the use of the CIA in such a broad and sweeping way against any American, especially within the Lower Forty-Eight. We think the best way to protect the privacy of Diane Feinstein et al is to elect Republicans that revere and respect the U.S. Constitution to the Senate in 2014 and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in 2016.
