When electing Democrats required maintaining Jim Crow laws in the South, Democrats were happy to protect the minority of white segregationists that delivered votes. When Republicans in Congress finally found a Democrat in the Oval Office to sign civil rights acts, Dems secured loyalty from minority voters with affirmative action to “protect” them from “institutional racist” bogeymen (Republicans).
And then there is the always available tactic of protecting the minority known as “the poor” by always insisting that only those that “don’t care” (again, Republicans) about widows and orphans wouldn’t vote for their latest welfare spending increase.
Never mind that Democrats defined “caring” as voting for the level of spending that currently exists under a previous bill they passed and that Republicans do not seek to cut. Getting the picture? Before you could keep your policy and doctor under Obamacare, Bill didn’t have sex with that woman and Barry was Barack; to be a Democrat was to lie to minorities to win electoral majorities.
The lies to the poor have reached epic proportions after five years of Obamanomics, thanks to the near unanimous votes of Blacks, gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals, transgenders, labor union members and other minorities to re-hire a proven failed economic steward to continue as Chief Executive in 2012.
Now, the Main Stream Media branch of the Democratic Party dynasty meets a 44% Duck Dynasty minority that just won’t get in line about what is and is not sin:
Who knew the LGBT community aka Democratic Party cared what duck hunting Christians defined as sin, considered men’s poop shoots superior to female genitalia, and desired citizenship in the Kingdom of God?
Given the crackdown by the PC Police since before Billy Crystal played Jodie Dallas on Soap in the late 1970s; it is surprising that 44% in a nation that is 70% professing-Christian, are still willing to tell pollsters that they consider the homosexual activities of less than 4%, a “sin.”
But let conservatives never suppose that liberal Democrats, who profess atheism or agnosticism, don’t have religion, whether it be the worship of Mother Earth aka Gaia or other gods but Mammon. For if A&E actually gives up the most successful cable-tv show of its kind because Roberston & Co. won’t get in the sodomy-is-not-sin line, then they are truly to be admired at some level for their religious self-sacrifice.
Sadly, Democrats have made sacrificing the liberties, both social and economic, of others as their defining mission for time immemorial.
