Rent out your teat to gay parents: Women only need apply

Woman nursingIt’s not every day that someone comes up with a better mousetrap. But an entrepreneurial French nurse has. She has placed an ad at e-loue offering to rent out her breasts and capacity to lactate to parents unable to breast-feed their own babies.

The solution has many advantages: First, it’s a job that can be done only by women (against whom conservatives are currently at war).

Second, it solves the problem facing gay couples who adopt an infant but, as males of the species, are unable to provide the newborn with the benefits of fresh breast milk. Third, it forces parents to breast-feed their babies, which must be the only correct way to provide nourishment since nanny-state mayor Michael Bloomberg ordered public hospitals in New York City last year to hide baby formula so mothers of newborns would have no choice.

The ad, translated from the French, reads as follows:

I am a young mother in good health, nurse training, 29 years, and rent my breasts for breastfeeding of infants.

I’m in the Paris region, but willing to relocate. I offer up to a dozen feedings for your baby per day.

Homosexual male couples do not have the opportunity to breastfeed their babies. Breastfeeding helps babies to be healthier. Indeed, breast milk provides complete nutrients.

The service doesn’t come cheaply. The woman charges €100 ($133) a day.

The International Business Times notes that the ad has caused a stir in France, a nation fiercely divided over the subject of gay marriage law. Another problem posed is the legality of renting out breast milk, a point on which legal scholars are also divided.

IBT writes that in 2011, when a similar offer was made via Facebook, prominent members of the French medical community protested, arguing that breast milk can be contaminated by bacteria or viruses.
