Still think President Obama was ignorant of Rev. Wright’s hate speech for 20 years or of the Muslim Brotherhood ties to al Qaeda? Still think he thought the stimulus stimulated or that Obamacare would permit you to keep private health insurance plans you liked before its passage into law?
I didn’t think so, and all of the above was clearly discernible before his re-election eight months ago, much less over the past six weeks as his job approval ratings have plummeted to record lows. That a popular and electoral majority of Americans that bothered to show up at the polls decided to re-hire such an epic failure continues to boggle the DeVine mind, but for the present, I digress. What matters now is what should Americans, and especially the loyal elected-Republican opposition in Washington, D.C., desirous of foreign and domestic policy changes, do now?
Of course, given that Barack Hussein Obama’s Democratic Party controls the U.S. Senate, effecting actual changes in any policy are at most only remotely possible and probably impossible, at least before the 2014 mid-term elections and probably before January 20, 2017 when the Twenty-Second Amendment ensures the inauguration of a new Chief Executive. But would it be too much to ask that a GOP in fear of the Media PC Police while losing power in every election since 2006, shed that fear and speak obvious truths concerning the man and the party that are running America into the ground? I think not.
Call a Spade a Spade
DeVine’s Right won’t ask elected Republicans to do what he won’t, hence our use of the above phrase concerning truth and shovels that is as old as the Ancient Greeks. We won’t be cowed by the ignorant or the bearers of false witness who perpetuate the myth that an America that gave a Black man the nukes with an 83% white Charleston, South Carolina congressional district that has twice sent Republican Senator Tim Scott to Congress is significantly defined by white racism. It is true that the party of slavery and Jim Crow still bases its appeal to voters largely upon race, but that would be Obama’s party and not the one that delivered Lincoln, Reagan and Bushes, but again, I digress.
Briefly, on foreign policy where the Article II constitutional powers of the executive branch are susceptible to few checks and balances even from a legislative branch with both houses in opposition hands (and even then only by the exercise of Congress’s power of the purse against a President that doesn’t wish to gut defense), could conservatives look forward to elected Republicans willing to shed John McCainiac blinders pretending that Obamas, Clintons and Kerrys haven’t been in bed with terrorists and other enemies of the United States for political purposes for decades?
Bill Clinton made Yassir Arafat the most frequent foreign guest in the Lincoln bedroom and pardoned members of the Puerto Rican FALN to ensure that Hillary wouldn’t lose the pro-terrorist and anti-Semitic vote in her first run for the U.S. Senate in New York. John Kerry collaborated with Viet Cong and Sandinista Communists before he and Hillary (Muslim Sisterhood-hiring) Clinton reached out to the murderous, chemical weapons-using Bashar Assad in Syria, calling him a reformer. Barack Obama’s political coming out part was held in the living room of Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. Americans ignorant or indifferent to all of the above have no excuse for excusing the Democratic Party its epic moral transgressions lest they get 5 cents less on the dollar from Big Government from Establishment Republicans that refuse to make the moral case against Democrats. But surely had more Republicans shown the courage to call unpatriotic Democrats explicitly by that name, more voters would have respected them and voted for them.
It should be more acceptable for U.S. politicians with distant-past ties to the Ku Klux Klan to be accepted in polite company than for today’s Democrats to remain so, given their present and recent ties to radical Islamists.
Which brings us to un-Reverends Wright and Farrakhan, Iran’s Green Revolution, Egypt’s Arab Spring and the Muslim Brotherhood’s ties to al Qaeda. Obama and Michelle’s pastor for more than 20 years so revered America’s number one racist, Jew-hater and leader of the Black Muslim Nation of Islam “church” as a respected man at his “Christian” church that he was honored on the Trinity Church bulletin and traveled with him to Libya to visit their friend Moammar Gadaffy.
President Obama always refers to Louis in reverential tones with the honorific “Minister” Farrakhan. Repeat after me John Mccain, “President Obama is a sick man”.
The Muslim Brotherhood spawned every significant leader that the perpetrators of the 9/11 have ever had:
Osama bin Laden was blinded in his right eye and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood as a youth, al-Qaida’s new leader said in an Internet video. Ayman as-Zawahiri, the terror group’s leader after bin Laden was killed by Navy SEALs in a raid in Pakistan in 2010, confirmed bin Laden was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood as a youth in his native Saudi Arabia. Zawahiri would know all about the Muslim Brotherhood as he came out of Egypt and joined the Muslim Brotherhood as a teenager. He provided much of the real blueprint for Al-Qaeda based on the ideas of the Muslim Brotherhood. The pretense that Bin Laden and Zawahari are extremists while Morsi and El-Shater are moderates is just that. They’re all Muslim Brotherhood veterans carrying out its mission and its goals.
Out of fear that Egyptian nationalist leaders would eliminate them after their commission of terrorist acts against then within Egypt many decades ago, the Muslim Brotherhood “officially” renounced violence. But they have never stopped openly supporting Hamas and other honest violent terrorist groups, the destruction of Israel and opposition to the United States. Ever heard of that last nation? You know, the one that elected Barack Obama to control its nukes?
Moreover, the Muslim Brotherhood openly and proudly supports Sharia law. Sharia law treats women like the chattel property of men under the law. No Muslim that supports Sharia law can be considered anything other than a radical opposed to civilized society and basic human rights, period; whether they openly support more 9/11s or not.
Evil Is Made No Less so Merely Because 50% Plus One Voters Elect It
President Obama knows this and knew this before his White House hired sympathizers of and collaborated with the MB, went on his apology tour to Cairo in 2009 and accepted the MB as respectable members at the political table; when he pushed out America’s much-less-evil friend Mubarak and reached out to the MB in 2011; and last week when he made clear his preference that an Islamist radical remain in power out of respect for a perverted definition of “democracy” rather than for America’s best interests and the human rights of Egyptian women and Christians.
More later this week on what Republicans (and especially those in the House of Representative that they control) should say and do with respect to domestic policies including tying an increase in the debt ceiling to repeal of Obamacare and reigning in the IRS; but the first thing they must do is shed their fear of speaking the moral truth about the character of the man the American people re-elected and the party they returned to the Senate.
Democrats decades-long and recent collaboration with foreign and domestic enemies of the United States makes clear that in any world this side of Alice in Wonderland, Cheshire cats must only smile with mock indignation at the notion that members of that party are even remotely qualified to be trusted with taxing and spending the American peoples’ money, much less being in charge of national security.
