The quotes around deliberately are suggested by the headline at The Guardian, which reports:
A 13-year-old girl has been killed and at least five people injured after a car ploughed into the outdoor terrace of a pizza restaurant in a town east of Paris, French police have said.
Police said the BMW was “deliberately” used to attack the restaurant in a shopping centre at Sept-Sorts, in the Seine-et-Marne region east of Paris.
An official with the national gendarme service said the driver was arrested soon after the incident on Monday in the town of Sept-Sorts.

There is no evidence, though radical Islam’s fingerprints are all over this one. Motor vehicles are increasingly becoming their weapon of choice for small-scale attacks on civilians. Witness the attack on London Bridge in June or last year’s attack in Nice on Bastille Day, when a 19-ton cargo truck was driven into a crowd of celebrants, killing 86 and injuring 458 others.
Of course, the Left doesn’t want to rush to judgment until all the facts are in. After all, who knows — they might get lucky. The driver may turn out to be one of Donald Trump’s neo-Nazi pals.
