Tim Walz’s Own Daughter Gives Best Evidence That He’s Completely Insane

By John Loftus

Tim Walz’s own daughter just gave the best evidence yet that he is completely insane.

Kate Mackz, a popular running influencer who conducts interviews with people while … running, recently visited the White House to take a tour with press secretary Karoline Leavitt. On Thursday, Walz’s daughter, Hope, weighed in on the visit with a take that contained a kernel of truth but was nonetheless delusional, hinting at her father’s failure as a … father. “Running as an act is political. And you know who taught me that? Tim Walz,” Hope told his TikTok following. “The first thing he told me when I was getting into it in high school — granted, I don’t really do it as much anymore, I go in spurts — but when I first getting into it in high school, the first thing he told me is that running is a privilege and being part of the running community is a privilege that not all people have access to.”

Hope argued that running privileges include the “time to run,” “access to funds to buy the gear … healthy, quality food [and] … access to a safe stable situation that allows you to be in a good mental state.”

“All of those things are hard to come by and if you have them and you are apart of the running community, that is a privilege,” she said. “That, again, was the first thing he taught me.”

Some people disagreed with Walz. Noam Blum said, “Running is literally the least class-gated sport that exists, and many of the all time great runners came from impoverished homes in impoverished countries. wtf is she talking about?”

In a sense, running is a blessing. If you have two legs and/or are in good enough health to go for a jog, consider yourself blessed. Because not everyone has two legs, and certainly not everyone is healthy enough to bang out a five-mile run.

But then again, running is certainly not a “political act.” If running is political, then, following Hope’s logic, so is playing a sport. So is reading a book. So is pretty much an activity humans engage in, including breathing. Activities, hobbies, and good bowel movements require other things. Money. Time. Fiber. Are those things political?

And I’m sorry, but if your daughter is posting unhinged political TikToks and chasing online clout, regardless of whether you are a famous politician, you have failed as a parent. You have failed, and are insane for not launching an intervention, especially if your kid is saying things as ludicrous as, “Running is a political act.”

Where is Hope’s father? Oh, that’s right. He’s currently trying to convince his party that he was never partially responsible for Kamala Harris’s blowout loss.

Tim Walz’s wife Gwen said she wanted to smell the fires of the 2020 BLM riots, because it was a “touchstone” moment to savor: “Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s wife, Gwen, said she left her windows open to ‘smell the burning tires’ during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots because she felt it was a ‘touchstone’ moment to savor….’I could smell the burning tires. That was a very real thing, and I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening,’ Gwen Walz said.”
