Biden lied about not meeting son’s foreign patrons, as is shown by photos recently released by Feds
Then-Vice President Joe Biden introduces his son, Hunter Biden, to Chinese President Xi Jinping in December 2013. From the National Archives.

“The National Archives has finally released photos showing then-Vice President Biden meeting with two of first son Hunter Biden’s Chinese government-linked business partners — again proving that the president lied about not interacting with his family’s foreign patrons,” reports the New York Post:

The cache of photos…show Chinese President Xi Jinping grinning as then-Vice President Biden introduced his son during a December 2013 trip to Beijing. The Xi-Hunter Biden encounter [was] at a meal Hunter described…as “pretty amazing” because his dad and China’s powerful authoritarian leader “were supposed to spend 2hrs together [but it] stretched to 7hrs. I think they are in love.” Xi was about two months into his ambitious “Belt and Road” foreign-influence and investment campaign — and a Chinese state-backed company aligned with that vision, BHR Partners, was in the process being co-launched by Hunter.

The newly released photos, which would have been politically explosive if they were released during the now-closed House impeachment inquiry into alleged Biden family corruption, show the elder Biden shaking hands with incoming BHR Partners CEO Jonathan Li and greeting the company’s managing director.

Joe Biden later wrote college recommendation letters for both of Li’s children…[Hunter Biden] held a 10% stake in BHR through at least part of his dad’s presidency…

The photos were released to the America First Legal Foundation in response to a transparency lawsuit. “AFL obtained the photos through our lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), which was filed on September 8, 2022,” AFL wrote on X. “NARA had planned to release these photographs on October 23, 2024 — thirteen days before Election Day. Lawyers and representatives for President Biden and President Obama delayed NARA’s release of these photos — as they did with other critical records — until after Election Day.”

Influence peddling by the Bidens was revealed in photos and emails found on Hunter’s abandoned laptop. Hunter Biden’s laptop contained copious evidence that Joe Biden was complicit in his son’s influence peddling, noted the New York Post.

Hunter Biden also appears to have sold classified information to his foreign paymasters. In a New York Post column, Miranda Devine noted that “there are several clues on” on Hunter Biden’s abandoned “laptop that Hunter may have been selling classified information to his foreign paymasters.” She points to “uncharacteristically cogent email about Ukraine written by Hunter Biden in 2014,” that likely reflects his cribbing classified information.

You would definitely go to prison if you were caught evading millions of dollars in taxes, the way Hunter Biden did. But Joe Biden pardoned him, after lying for months and saying over and over again that he wouldn’t pardon Hunter. Initially, the Justice Department offered Hunter Biden a sweetheart deal, while deliberately allowing the statute of limitations to run on some of the millions in unpaid taxes, so that Hunter Biden will never have to pay what he owes in full. The former head of the Justice Department’s Tax Division pointed out that it was unprecedented for the government to let the statute of limitations run on some of the money Biden owed, writing in the Wall Street Journal that “For the government to permit the statute of limitations to expire is unheard of.”

Biden has falsely claimed that his son earned no money from China. But as the Washington Post fact-checker notes, that is false — his own son admitted otherwise.

In March 2023, Joe Biden falsely denied that members of his family received over $1 million from Hunter Biden‘s business associate — even as his son Hunter Biden confirmed it.

Republican Congressman James Comer of Kentucky disclosed the more than $1 million in payments in late June. Comer got them through a subpoena of Hunter Biden’s business associate Rob Walker’s bank records. Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, revealed that “from 2015 through 2017, Biden family members and their companies received over $1.3 million in payments” from accounts tied to Walker.

Comer found that more than $1 million was sent in a series of payments to Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s brother James, and Hallie Biden, the widow of Joe Biden’s deceased son Beau. (Hunter had a sexual relationship with Hallie in 2017 following his brother’s death, not long after Walker received a $3 million wire from a Chinese company).

In June, a reporter asked President Biden at the White House if he had “any reaction to House GOP’s new memo about your family dealings.” The President replied, “My family dealings?” The reporter responded, “Yes, revealing that Hunter Biden’s business associate sent over a million dollars to three of your family members?”

“That’s not true,” replied Joe Biden.

But it was true, as the Washington Examiner reported.
