Violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua spreads to one of America’s northernmost states

“The Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua has now spread to one of the most remote states in America, after an alleged member was arrested for felony theft last month,” reports Fox News.

Police in West Fargo, North Dakota, arrested gang member Henry Theis last month.

Tren de Aragua is a violent gang that held an apartment building hostage in Aurora, Colorado. It has since expanded its activities to at least 17 states across the country.

“Tren de Aragua now has a presence in 17 states.” Congressman Troy E. Nehls, R-Texas, posted on X. “I look forward to working with President Trump to secure our border and restore safety in our communities.”

West Fargo has less than 40,000 people, and North Dakota is the 4th least populated state in the country.

Tren de Aragua, which means “Train from Aragua,” originated in a Venezuelan prison over a decade ago.

Cops pulled over Theis, 25, for driving with his headlights off. After they stopped him, they discovered $24,000 in cash in his car that he had stolen from a North Dakota bank. They also found other incriminating evidence such as a facemask, a latex glove, cables and a computer keyboard.

Theis admitted to being part of group of hackers involved in “jackpotting” ATMs, using a virus to steal money.

Two other Venezuelan criminals were also arrested, who were carrying around $80,000 in stolen cash. Those Venezuelans were Jefferson Rodriguez-Quintero and Ryber Sanchez.

Another Venezuelan migrant, connected to the Tren de Aragua gang, was arrested earlier this week near Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in south Florida.
