A good time wasn’t had by all. One of the originally invited guests to Barack Obama’s sixtieth birthday party who was disinvited after the guest list was trimmed was Nancy Pelosi, and the speaker was none too thrilled. (RELATED: Bummer: Hypocrite Obama scales back party in face of criticism)
The guest list for the party, which was originally slated to have 500 guests, was dramatically slashed after the former president took heat for the bad example he was setting in the midst of a pandemic.
Pelosi nevertheless traveled to Martha’s Vineyard and attended church there Sunday morning. As she was exiting the church, according to the Daily Mail, an attorney visiting the island with his wife called out to her: “Hiya, how was Obama’s party?” Pelosi, reportedly answered back, “I didn’t go. I had other parties to go to.” Yeah, right.
As for the party Pelosi didn’t go to, the New York Post published stealth photos of the shindig taken by one of the performers, a rapper, who was subsequently forced to delete them. The images reveal that virtually everyone in attendance was maskless and failed to social distance, potentially making the party the ginormous super spreader event many were predicting. If it turns out that was the case, don’t expect the media to report the news any time soon.
