So this is what normalcy looks like. After five years of non-stop conspiracy theorizing and scheming to get Donald Trump out of the Oval Office, Democrats finally succeed, if by questionable means. But they’re not interested in merely moving on and mending fences with their neighbor across the aisle, as the president-elect pretends to advocate for. Instead they are discussing plans for dealing with their “captives,” whose candidate lost the election. They warn them, as Trump hater Robert de Niro did, “to be afraid — be very afraid,” They speak of opening up “re-education camps” — places where the 75 million Americans who voted for Trump can be sent for “deprogramming.”

This is not to suggest that everyone on the Left is stark raving mad. Some of its “deepest thinkers” merely want to boot them from “polite society.” Watch. A transcript follows.

I know that some of your Lincoln Project colleagues have said, ‘Never forgive. Never let them back in.’ People like Mike Lee who are six months from now going to be pretending, ‘Oh, I care about the Constitution. Constitution,’ he is on Parler saying Trump really won the election. You have all of these people, Lamar Alexander, Mike DeWine, Chris Christie, Larry Hogan, some of the ones who creeped out and said, ‘We think, we think, we think Biden won.’ But then you have the others like Tim Scott. Rick Scott of Florida, Marco Rubio, Chuck Grassley, Richard Burr. Should they ever be allowed back into polite and normal political society after what they have done to this country?

Imagine if Republicans had discussed a similar fate for Adam Schiff, Jerrold Nadler, Nancy Pelosi, and others after their sham impeachment or their two year-plus crusade to prove that Trump had colluded with the Russians to steal the election. Do these people even know what irony is?

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
