That’ll be a first: President Trump to hold virtual rally on Rush Limbaugh Show on Friday

On Thursday, guest-host Mark Steyn, who filled in today for Rush Limbaugh during one of the popular talk-radio host’s cancer treatment weeks, informed listeners that there would be a special “guest host” on on Friday, October 9.

The “host” will be President Donald Trump.  Limbaugh posted information himself to that effect as well.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

I’m thrilled to announce that our commander-in-chief, President Donald Trump, will be right here tomorrow hosting the largest virtual rally in radio history.  Be sure to tune in. You don’t want to miss this. It will be special, and I am really looking forward to it.

It appears that technically, Limbaugh is hosting the president’s rally, rather than Trump hosting the Limbaugh Show.  The former would be an appropriate use of a current-affairs opinion broadcast; the latter perhaps a more questionable venture.  We’ll see.  (Someone is bound to sue over it.)

At any rate, this ought to be a barn-burner.  When Rush says “Trump will be right here,” we don’t know if that means the president will be sitting in the show’s studio in Florida.  If so, then Trump should be visible throughout the broadcast via online streaming to subscribers of Rush 24/7.  Clips will presumably be posted afterward to the Limbaugh website.

Now that we have comments back at LU, please feel free to drop by and record your urgent impressions.  It seems unlikely that anyone who can help it is going to miss this one.
