Biden: ‘Why don’t we teach history? A black man invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison’
Will Biden’s ‘you ain’t black’ remark be the last straw? It sure as hell won't be the last time.

One could argue he meant “black history,” but the former vice president got that wrong, too.

Pandering to a mostly black audience at Grace Lutheran Church in Kenosha lamented that “we don’t teach history in history classes. People fear that’s, which, that which is different. We gotta, for example, why in God’s name don’t we teach history in history classes? A black guy invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison. OK?”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

No, not OK. In fact, wrong. TimesNowNews clarifies:

Reacting to Biden’s statements, netizens shared their views with writer Raymond Arroyo saying, “Fact Check:  Thomas Edison did indeed invent the light bulb. Lewis Latimer (the black man Biden likely in mind?) created a filament that allowed bulbs to burn longer.”

Another user wrote, “A black man invented the light bulb, not a white guy named Edison, okay? The black man, Lewis Latimer, has a name, not that Biden knows that. He created an improved filament, he didn’t invent the bulb. He’s just fuel to create more racial divisions.”

Don’t think black voters aren’t noticing Biden’s clumsy attempt at closing the sale on this bloc, which he and Democrats have long taken for granted. As the Washington Examiner reports:

Black voters, who Biden is depending on, are not enthusiastic about his candidacy, despite having Sen. Kamala Harris on the ticket. Rasmussen found that just 67% of black people in Pennsylvania support Biden, while 27% back Trump.
