Desperate times call for desperate measures — even for Islamic terrorists. According to the British newspaper Express, “al-Naba,” a newsletter published by ISIS, contains a “sharia directive” to its members, instructing them to “stay away from the land of the epidemic” to avoid becoming infected. Terrorists are also advised to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing and to wash their hands often.

The irony of all this is hard to miss. Here is this group of hardened, bloodthirsty executioners, each of whom takes a vow “to lay down his life, and to sacrifice all his interests and desires in the cause of truth,” staying home from work over … what? A head cold?

The newsletter also advises that the “plague,” meaning coronavirus disease, is a “torment sent by God on whomsoever He wills,” adding, “illnesses do not strike by themselves but by the command and decree of God.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

At least the terrorist organization appears to share the view of former Obama confidant Rahm Emanuel that you should “never to let a crisis go to waste.” In addition to admonishing that the “healthy should not enter the land of the epidemic,” the newsletter also counsels that “the afflicted should not exit from it.” One could take this to mean that if you have the symptoms of the virus, you should try to infect as many “infidels” (aka, non-Muslims) as you can.

Meantime, what a bunch of sissies!
