One excuse the offenders might conceivably make is that these documents aren’t classified or sensitive. But then why are members of the media assigned to the committee hearing taking photos or videos of pages left behind in plain view of anyone during a recess?
That is what happened on Tuesday during a break in the House Rules Committee hearings. Have a peek:
Once again the media is taking pictures of documents laying on Congressmen/womens desk while they're away.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The author of the tweet claims in a followup that “it’s always the Democrats [sic] documents that the media is taking photos of, so I have to wonder if the Democrats aren’t deliberately leaving the documents behind for just that purpose.”
If the assertion is accurate, it suggests, if nothing else, that Democrats are too irresponsible to serve in government. One of the party’s most visible members, Hillary Clinton, was certainly careless when it came to handling secure documents.
