This is actually no laughing matter. In fact, it’s dead serious. The man muttering incoherently in this video is still the Democratic frontrunner nationally and in two primary state polls, Nevada and South Carolina. He has also bumped Elizabeth Warren out of the first-place position she enjoyed in RealClear Politics’s betting odds.
In short, this man, Joe Biden, could conceivably be the next president of the United States.
Yes, arguments could be made that the former vice president was tired at this particular campaign stop or that the footage lacks context, though it’s hard to imagine a context that could explain what sounds like so much raving.
