One way in which Democrats reveal their unbridled passion for inclusiveness — and unintentionally their vulnerabilities — is by elevating children to positions of importance regardless of whether they really have anything to bring to the table. We have seen this in the near-beatification of anti-gun activist David Hogg who, all witticism aside, is a perfectly unremarkable young man.
Now we are seeing it again in 16-year-old Swedish phenom Greta Thunberg, who has so much of import to share on the subject of climate change that she was invited on Wednesday to speak before the before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
So what did she have to say? See for yourself:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

What? That’s it?! The kid so dedicated to saving the planet that she traveled from Europe to the U.S. via a “zero-carbon” high-tech racing yacht rather than fly, so smart that the Nobel committee has nominated her for the Peace Prize, so inspirational that New York City schools allowed students today to cut class so they could protest climate change inaction has no message beyond “Listen to the scientists”?
Worse yet, when she offers that bit of brilliant advice, she means only the scientists who believe that man-made climate change will destroy the planet in another dozen years.
